Our First Two Weeks

Well, I must first apologize to all of you for such a long delay in getting these blogs posted. We have been enjoying him far more than getting things done around here...such as e-mails and blog posts but thanks to his Grandmas and Auntie Steph our place and our lives have managed to stay afloat! We haven't done too much these last two weeks except take the time to get to know him. Well, I guess that's not entirely true. We actually weren't very ready for him to arrive. My due date was September 20th and he came on September 9th. So, the last two weeks have consisted of shopping for and building baby room furniture (thanks Steve!), sorting clothes, doing laundry, learning how to use baby items that had not yet been opened, recovering and so on (thanks again Grandmas and Auntie!).

But, in the midst of the craziness, we have managed to do a few memorable "firsts".

49'er Game with Daddy

Starbuck's and Peet's

We also have found that our son has already made his first friends!

Mr. Trunks and Blue Elephant

It seems that the changing table is his favorite place in the apartment. Blue elephants are not our theme but we received these as gifts and he really can't keep his eyes off of them. He rarely cries when being changed because he is so happy to just look at his friends. I'm sure it won't be long before he is talking to them too!

Well, I do hope that this update and pictures will suffice for now. I hope to get more efficient with the photo and blogger programs so that it won't take me so long to post. Until then, enjoy!
